  Went in for a Sunday roast today with my girlfriend. We were both greeted by a warm welcome and very prompt service. Our food arrived nice and quickly, and was top notch. I felt the amount and quality of food for the price was fantastic. Will definitely be visiting again, as I really want to try the cakes!

  This was my first visit and will be my last. We were so excited when we went in and saw that the cafe was busy and people seemed happy. We ordered our food and had to wait over 40 minutes for it which we couldn't understand as people who ordered after us were being served before us. When our food finally arrived the portion size was a joke! My mum had fish and chips and the fish was mainly batter there was hardly any fish in it. The prices for their food is a disgrace. We will not be returning.

  Waited 45 minutes for two (very small) bowls of smoked haddock chowder which was cream sauce, mostly new potatoes with very few flakes of haddock.
  
  When I went to chase the food after about 35 minutes, I saw them heating the 'chowder' in a plastic jug.
  
  Other people who came in after got served before us and the waiting staff were completely unapologetic.
  
  First and last visit.
